A quick National Minimum Wage increase reminder

Just to remind you that the National Minimum Wage increases from 1st October, 2015 as follows:
  • Aged 21 and over from £6.50 to £6.70 per hour
  • Aged 18 to 20 from £5.13 to £5.30 per hour
  • Aged 16 to 17 from £3.79 to £3.87 per hour
  • Apprentices under 19, or over 19 and in the first year of their apprenticeship from £2.73 to £3.30 per hour
Don’t forget too that the compulsory National Living Wage set at £7.20 per hour is to be introduced in April, 2016 for all working people who are aged 25 and over.
