Q. What is the definition of bullying and harassment?

A.
Bullying and harassment has been described as “any unwanted behaviour that makes someone feel intimidated, degraded, humiliated or offended”. What one person perceives to be bullying and harassment may be very different to that perceived by someone else. It is not always obvious and may be happening without anyone else in the workplace being aware of it. It can be between two people or sometimes involves groups of people. It also doesn’t have to be direct – it can occur in emails, over the telephone or in other written communications.
