Hi,
What fabulous weather we’ve been having and over two extended bank holiday weekends as well!
In this bulletin we look at the increase in the National Minimum Wage, new rules on the taxation of termination patients, some helpful information on how to cope with an employee who is diagnosed with cancer and a clash of views between the CBI and TUC on the proposal to introduce a fee to make a claim in an employment tribunal and to increase the qualifying period for unfair dismissal from one to two years. Finally, a reminder to make sure any company-owned equipment is fully insured if an employee is taking it away on holiday.
As ever, your feedback is always appreciated so please do let us know if there’s anything else you would like to see in our e-Bulletin.
Kind regards,
Angela
