Support for local Charities
Crispin Rhodes actively supports several charities and groups within the Milton Keynes area including the St Paul's School Mongolian Project, MK Arts for Health, Willen Hospice and Wheelpower.

Our latest exciting event wasThe Big Big Charity Bash Party Night on Friday 28th March, 2008. An full evening of fun and frivolity was enjoyed by over 350 people at the new Stadium MK.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone there, we raised an incredible £11,500 for these charities.

A group of twelve 17and 18 years olds from St Paul's School are preparing for an expedition of a lifetime to Mongolia in July 2008. They will spend two weeks' trekking across Mongolia, followed by a community project involving painting a school or orphanage and teaching english. Each child has to raise £3,500 and Crispin Rhodes are working hard with the group to help them raise the necessary funds.

Willen Hospice provides a range of specialist hospice care for people with life limiting conditions from Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Care can be provided as an in-patient, within the beautiful day hospice, overlooking the peaceful Willen Lake, or within the patient's own home.

Wheelpower is the chosen charity of the British Lions Club, Stony Stratford. It is the national organisation for wheelchair sport in the UK. Sport is a real positive for many people whose lives have been traumatically changed, giving them an outlet for their frustrations and energy. Increased confidence and a positive outlook are the key benefits influencing many other areas of their lives. The charity provides accessible facilities at Stoke Manderville Stadium, where the British Paraplegic team train. Indeed, Wheelpower hope to be able to bring members of the British Team along to the evening.

MK Arts for Health is a professionally run arts development charity that has worked across the spectrum of Milton Keynes' healthcare provision since 2004. The organisation has successfully developed one of the largest Hospital Arts collections in the UK. Angela Rhodes is proud to be a Trustee of this exciting new venture.
