Rowing Event
Sharon Pugh Set to Shine at London 2012
January 10, 2012 by Angela Rhodes

A new year brings new opportunities and Sharon Pugh, one of Crispin Rhodes’ partners, has been selected as a Workforce Ops Team Member volunteer to support the London 2012 Olympics. Her role will be a crucial one in supervising and motivating others working at the Games and Sharon will not only be welcoming people to the team, but will also be responsible for checking them in, confirming their rotas and resolving issues brought up by people working in the team.

With over 2 million people applying for 70,000 volunteer roles, Sharon’s HR skills clearly lit the torch of the Olympic Committee!

Sharon has been selected for the Rowing and Canoe events at Dorney Lake, near Windsor, which is one of the few Olympic venues with unlimited spectator capacity – up to 30,000 in fact! This is bound to be a challenging role, however – as everyone who knows Sharon will testify – whether in HR or the Olympic Games Sharon certainly has everything it takes to step up the winner’s rostrum.

Congratulations Sharon, on behalf of the whole Crispin Rhodes Team.
