Update on Employment Legislation Post Brexit

The Government has published a White Paper, “The Future Relationship between the United Kingdom and the European Union” which proposes that there will be no regression in employment laws.

Therefore, assuming a deal is reached, there will be no repeal of any EU-based laws which will mean that TUPE, the Working Time Regulations, collective consultation requirements and a lot of the discrimination-related legislation won’t be changed post Brexit.
